Thrush is one of the twin sister opals from Bluebird’s first litter last summer.  This is the first time we’ve offered any of her offspring.  Bluebird is a 2 time National level BOV winner, having back-to-back BOV wins at ARBA Convention 2024 and ANDRC Nationals in 2025.  Thrush and her sister are very special beautiful does with excellent type, good width, fur, and bold heads, eyes, and well-furred ears.  The sisters went back and forth on the show tables at the few shows we got to, each earning a leg.  It was a hard to pick a sister to go, and a decision I still go back and forth on, but we don’t need both of them.

Thrush has great ears.  They are set well, very open and well-furred.  Her body feels really nice and her coat, when finished, has a nice roll back texture.  Thrush currently has patchy under color ranging from very light to very gray (the newer coat that was coming in is the darkest gray under color).  She is ready to be bred, like our other does, and continually tried to lift as I was trying to pose her for pictures.  She’s got great overall type and would be an asset to any program.
