This doe is so cute, and it was a very hard decision to let her go.  We have too many chestnut does, and it may turn out we picked the wrong one to let go, but they all have reasons they could stay.  This doe is out of some of our favorites, especially Meadowhawk, who has a super natural pose and great presence.  Her and her sire have proven themselves to be very competitive on the show tables and I think Saffron would be the same way if someone wanted to show her.  We have not been to many shows recently, and she was out of coat when we did go, so she has not shown.  She’s starting to fill out and feel much smoother even from when we were doing our evaluations a couple weeks ago.  She’s ready to be bred, like so many of our other does right now, it was hard to get a good picture of her because she kept trying to lift her tail up.  She is somewhat higher rufous in her color.  She’s a flashy little doe with nice type and hopefully will be a valuable addition to someone’s rabbitry.
