Lots-a-Hop’s Fawn Darner

Orange DOE

Born May 4, 2026

By Lots-a-Hop’s Huckleberry (Reg. Grand Champion broken orange, 7 legs, 1 BOSB, 4 BOG+, sire to the 2026 ANDRC Nationals 3^rd place orange doe) x Lots-a-Hop’s Dragonfly (Reg. GC, 17 legs, 3 BOSB+)

The only fawn we’ve had in a while, Darner is a really pretty girl that we should probably be keeping.  We are making hard decisions, and this is definitely one of them.  Darner is a darker shade of fawn and is smutty/sooty (as her clean baby coat is shedding out, she’s getting a blue cast over her coat, you can see the molt line of clean vs newer smutty in the pictures).  She’s got a great body on her and is from outstanding parents.  I’d love to breed her to a clean orange or fawn to add this type into the program, but we are trying to reduce our herd size.  Her mother is a super nice blue tort doe that has produced many GC babies and had a successful show career herself, and her sire is super nice as well.  I know she can do great things for someone.  I’m sure she will be even prettier when she finishes maturing.  Of the rabbits on her pedigree, 8 are grand champions.  She is mostly from Lots-a-Hop’s, with a Simons’ and a Dwarf Villa’s on the back line.
