Veil was the result of working to get dilute genes back into our shaded.  We bred her sable mother to our beautiful blue buck, Dragon, and ended up with tort.  Aside from having her own successful show career, she has produced some beautiful babies, including the winning sable points from the 2026 ANDRC Nationals, and our upcoming smoke pearl buck.  It was a hard decision to let her go, as she’s always making such pretty babies for us, but I think we are ready to move on with her offspring.  She’s very versatile for colors, having produced a great variety of compatible colors depending what she was bred to (broken, tort, orange, sable point, ruby-eyed white, smoke pearl, otter).  She carries dilute, so could give you all kinds of fun varieties like blue torts, fawns, blue, etc.  She has been a great mom, usually with litters of 3 (or once 4), and she has raised foster babies for us too.
