Squirrel DOE
Born May 18, 2026
By Lots-a-Hop’s Hitch (Reg. Grand Champion squirrel, 7 legs, 2026 ANDRC BOSV squirrel) x Lots-a-Hop’s Wren (Reg. opal, 1 leg, 2026 ANDRC 2nd place opal senior doe (she wouldn’t stop lifting to breed) – 1st was her litter mate sister)
A beautiful and promising young squirrel doe, Gnat is sure to make someone happy. She’s very proper and upright, except that she didn’t want to stop lifting (much like her mother used to do!) for pictures, so it was difficult to get some of her. Her body is great, and her color is coming in very nicely. I love her bold eye. She’s not quite finished in her coat yet, but hoping she will be ready for showing by the time she makes it to Convention. We aren’t working on squirrels, or chins, so it makes sense to let her go, despite how nice she is. If she was registered later on, she’d have a red, white, and blue seal on her papers, meaning all generations behind her are also registered, 9 of which are grand champions!
