Squirrel isn’t a color we really ‘do’, but when Hitch popped out, he was too nice not to hang onto him for awhile.  He is flashy and shows himself off really well.  Pictures don’t do this guy justice!  He’s bright eyed and upright with a smooth top and great fur.  His sire Buck’em is one of our favorite bucks.  Hitch has earned 4 legs so far, with many more wins than he has legs for because the only way for a rare color to get a leg is to go for group level win or better.  There’s been some very tough chestnut competition around here and we’ve not been to many shows, so we are pleased with how he’s shown.  He is registered and his grand championship is pending.  Hitch is a beautiful dilute buck and is ready to contribute to someone’s herd.
